P.S. the photographer in me just HAS to tell u that the 1st photo is photoshopped and this is too large to be a new moon, more like a 4th day moon. the photo is all around the internet...

Souma--thank you for your greetings! LOL :) re: the photo. Yes, I was sure it was an "artefact" shall we call it, but I like the composition. It wasn't presented as a new moon sighting, but I used it anyway! :)

I actually really like the pottery one. I love pottery and lanterns, and who knew they make clay Ramadan Karim lanterns! :)
